Join U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Director Kathi Vidal and several successful women entrepreneurs, funders and strategists on Wednesday, November 30 at noon ET to launch a new initiative to encourage and empower women entrepreneurship in the United States. The event is available to watch via livestream.

While women represent the fastest growing category of entrepreneurs worldwide, they are less likely to be able to secure the capital and the intellectual property (IP) protections they need to attract investment and become sustainable. The program will feature stories and advice from women leaders as well as resources to help women get started, protect their IP, fund their ideas, and expand their network of mentors and advisers.

Speakers include:

  • Shelly Kapoor Collins, Founding Partner, Shatter Fund, and Partner, Sway Ventures
  • Kara Goldin, Founder and CEO, Hint
  • Madeleine Key, Senior Strategist, Key Media
  • Pattie Sellers, Co-CEO, SellersEaston Media; Co-Founder, Fortune’s Most Powerful Women
  • Sarah Megan Thomas, Actress, Writer, Director, Producer
  • Additional successful women entrepreneurs, funders, and strategists who will share their stories and tips for aspiring women entrepreneurs

The event will be held at the Clara Barton Auditorium North at USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia (advanced registration required for in-person attendance). The link above is also for the livestream.
