Details on how to apply for Venture Accelerator, a free 10-week entrepreneurship boot camp program being offered through the CSUB’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation will be among topics of this week’s free webinar presented by the Small Business Development Center at CSU Bakersfield.  

Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will begin the webinar with a look at the economy, capital resources, and updates on remaining available government pandemic relief programs. 

Bearden will be joined by Dr. Seung Bach, associate dean of the CSUB School of Business & Public Administration, and Executive Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI). Dr. Bach will discuss details of the center’s new Venture Accelerator program. A free 10-week entrepreneurship boot camp program, it is open to Kern County residents. Applications are now being accepted. The first cohort will begin in September. 

Questions from attendees will be taken.           

This marks the 121st in the weekly “Webinar Wednesday” series that provides reopening and current pandemic relief updates on available federal, state, and local funding options, tax credit programs, employee programs, and other opportunities helpful to employers and business owners.
