USPTO webinar: Tribal Nations Partnership: Building a Presence in E-Commerce

Thursday, December 8, 2022 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm

Native American artists face unique challenges today, with the shift to online sales and continued limits on attendance at local arts and crafts fairs where their work has traditionally found a home.

Designed to help Native American visual artists develop and expand their e-commerce presence, the programs will feature speakers from private and public sectors who have extensive experience in these industries.

Sessions will explore such topics as :

· an e-commerce primer

· building a brand

· pricing products and getting paid

· protecting your arts and crafts

· enforcing rights in an e-commerce environment

The series has been organized by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in collaboration with the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Indian Arts and Crafts Board and the non-profit Indian Dispute Resolution Services, Inc. All programs will be recorded and made available for viewing online after the program date. There is no charge to attend, and you may register for any, or all, of the webinars as they are announced.
