To better engage with Seaside businesses, the Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau (MCCVB) and the City of Seaside will be hosting a Social Media Workshop via Zoom. The workshop will cover best practices in social media, as well as provide insight on how to engage with MCCVB’s social media, public relations, and advertising programs to help share and amplify your business and messaging. See below for post-webinar 1:1 business counseling with an SBDC consultant on this topic.

  • Be clear and direct on what your customers can expect, especially in achanging business environment
  • Link out to your website for more information, menus, business hours, etc.
  • Monitor and respond to comments on your social channels as often as possible– even if it’s just with a simple “thank you” or an emoji
  • Use images that inspire and evoke emotion, do not use images that are poorly lit or low quality
  • Always encourage safe and responsible travel for visitors coming to MontereyCounty
  • Follow MCCVB and engage with Seaside on our channels for a share or comment!
