NVSBW-Fund Your Veteran Business
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) celebrates, connects, and empowers service member (including National Guard and Reserve), veteran, and military spouse entrepreneurs and business owners – past, present, and future – during National Veterans Small Business Week (NVSBW).
Acquiring capital to fund a new business idea or sustain an existing venture can be challenging for service member, veteran, and military spouse entrepreneurs. From identifying lenders to developing a financial roadmap, SBA’s Office of Capital Access, District Offices, and community resource partners can help guide these small business owners through the many stages of understanding their business’ financial picture and accessing capital – like loans, microloans, or grants – to support it. Plus, SBA can introduce veteran entrepreneurs to the financial set-asides and resources available to them based on their veteran-owned status. In addition, due to the pandemic, veterans can apply for COVID-19 relief programs to help them keep their business afloat.
