Join SBA’s Office of International Trade for a second installment of our new Learn to Trade Roundtable Series on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 1:00 pm EDT with Protecting Your Intellectual Property in Trade. This 45-minute session for small businesses will provide an overview of the fundamentals of protecting your intellectual property when selling internationally. The session will cover:
  • How can I protect my intellectual property (trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets) outside the U.S.?
  • What international agreements exist to help me protect my intellectual property?
  • How can I request enforcement of my trademarks and copyrights against infringing imports and report companies that are importing infringing goods?
  • Learn about resources the U.S. Government provides to help small business exporters and manufacturers in protecting their valuable intellectual property from theft.
