Billed as a one-stop shop of storm resources, the center hosts a variety of agencies, nonprofits and county departments apt at aiding residents, businesses and workers with recovery, re-entry and financial assistance. Agencies onsite include the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Small Business Administration, California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES), Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, among others.

There are important papers you should bring along to help with recovery and eligibility requirements. When possible, bring proof of identification and proof of residency such as birth certificates, utility bills, leases, Pay Stubs, or other IDs. A variety of information and assistance is available regardless of the type of damage suffered, location of impacted residence or business, insurance status, immigration status, or any other factor.
