Cal Coastal SBDC joins the panel with Monterey Bay PTAC for "Understanding the Various Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IDIQ)," 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12. The government often awards contracts where they know they will have a future need for a product or service, but they are not exactly sure of various factors, the scope of work, when they will need the product/service, and in what quantities they will be.  Thus, the term IDIQ.  Depending on what is needed and by whom there are a variety of options.  We will go over the most common types of IDIQs, explain their benefits of them, and how you may be able to participate in some of the contracting opportunities related to an IDIQ even if you are not the awardee of a specific IDIQ.
