Cal Coastal SBDC joins the panel with the  Monterey Bay Procurement Technical Assistance Center to present  “Department of the Defense CMMC 2.0 Update Webinar.”

The Department of Defense (DOD) has made significant changes to the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), which goes into effect in May 2023. CMMC 2.0 was developed in response to concerns broadly expressed throughout the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) community about the complexity of the certification requirements and the cost associated with implementing them. The newly released version takes positive steps towards making certification more achievable and cost-efficient while still ensuring necessary levels of cybersecurity to safeguard critical DIB systems. In this session, you will learn: - What are the revised requirements for CMMC certification? – Who will need to get certified? -- Who will be conducting CMMC audits and how will audits work? - What steps should DOD contractors take now to begin preparation for CMMC certification next year?

All registered attendees will receive a link to join the webinar on September 13th.

This will be hosted in Zoom.
